If the long lines, hoards of people and an early wake-up call after your inevitable turkey coma is just too much to handle on Black Friday, the nation?s largest online retailer is fully prepared to serve you.
Rather than wait until Cyber Monday to offer online deals, Amazon kicked off the holiday shopping season early. Starting November 19, Amazon began offering new deals every hour leading up to Black Friday. From LED HDTVs under $500 to 70 percent off men's watches, Amazon is putting out all the stops to give Americans a convenient alternative to traditional Black Friday shopping.
This year, a number of brick-and-mortar retailers such as Target, Toys R Us and Best Buy, have said they will all offer price-match guarantees on identical products that customers find online at select websites like Amazon.

If history is any indication, Amazon?s own products will be hot sellers this holiday season. Last year, customers purchased four times as many Amazon Kindles as they had they year before. Indeed, online holiday spending appears to be increasing. More than 50 percent of shoppers are expected to shop online for gifts this holiday season, which would set a new record, according to the National Retail Federation.
